Can you enclose my existing porch or deck?

Often, yes. It depends on whether the floor structure can carry the weight of walls and a roof, and on the roof, height, and drainage. We check all of this at the free consultation and tell you if any reinforcement is needed.

Do I need permits to build a sunroom or enclose my porch?

In most cases, yes. A sunroom or porch enclosure that changes your home’s structure usually needs a building permit from the county, or from the town if you’re inside town limits, such as Ocean City, Rehoboth Beach, or Selbyville. I chose them because I had read some positive reviews so when I wanted to have an awning or shade done over the door out of my sunroom, I gave them a call. The gentleman that came out to the house was nice, respectful,  professional. He was knowledgeable regarding the different available products. Was here for quite a while. Gave us some different ideas. Took measurements. Assured us we would have a quote by that evening. We didn't get it. Waited through the weekend and Monday still no quote. Tuesday I called them to make sure they had the correct email.  They told me they were having server issues and would send me the quote soon. Another week has passed and nothing. No quote, no phone call. I totally understand if they didn't want to take the job because it was too small for them. As professionals,  they should have just called me and told me. Disappointing!! I wasted time waiting for their quote while I could have been looking elsewhere.
